Inspirierender Nachmittag mit den Dr. Grupp Stipendiat:innen
This year's meeting with the scholarship holders supported by Dr. Cornelius Grupp, took place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
With the motto “circular economy”, the students and graduates first explored the Neuman aluminum casting division, where they got to know the processes of slug and bar production as well as gaining many valuable insights into aluminum recycling.
A subsequent keynote speech by Sustainability Manager Thomas Höpler on developments and challenges in the aluminum circular economy sparked a lively exchange on sustainable solutions.
The highlight of the get-together and networking part was the keynote speech by Dr. Cornelius Grupp, who gave the scholarship holders valuable food for thought.
The Dr. Grupp Scholarship supports up to three students per year from the districts of Lilienfeld, St. Pölten Stadt und Land and Voitsberg who are studying a technical subject at a university of applied sciences, a (technical) university or the University of Leoben.
